Movement for fun Club

Welcome to “Movement for Fun Club”

This club was set up for teenagers with special needs in cooperation with the “Meeting place club Finglas” who are affiliated to the Arch club of Ireland.

Our main aim is to provide a social outlet for people with special needs through various activities and in cooperation with Erin’s Isle we also include Football and Hurling/Camogie, however these activities are not a required activity for members but a choice.

We aim to help develop our member’s

  • ·        Social skills,
  • ·        Self – Esteem
  • ·        Quality of life

To achieve this we offer a wide range of activities.

We meet once a month in the Juvenile Room in Erin’s Isle GAA Finglas, dates will be post on the Isle’s website.

Although our primary aim is to provide for teenagers with special needs we would encourage all teenagers to get involved.

Remember members may have special needs but they still feel, like everyone and we would encourage you to come along and get involved and help make our member’s feel included in everyday activities that most people take for granted.

Our members do not want Sympathy but they do require Empathy and Consideration from their peers and with your help they can achieve the most from this club.

Remember you are teenagers now and life is vast so the more you learn now the better life experience you will have as well as our members.

If you think you may know someone who would like to come a long contact Stan or Cathy.
