U10, U11 and U12 Team Ethos

The team ethos is respect, encouragement and hard work in a fun and safe environment. As a coaching team we want to develop skills, a love of the games and for the girls to make friends with their team mates. We believe in an inclusive approach with all players getting game time to give them the best opportunity to improve their skills.

Meet the Mentors

U12 coaching team

Sheila Finnegan

is a local mother of three, all of who play for Erin’s Isle. She has been involved in Erin’s Isle for over 20 years and played ladies football as a teenager. She has been mentor/coach for 12 years. She has taken part in a number of coaching courses, workshops and juvenile development courses. Sheila coaches the girls football teams.

Fran Lawlor

is a member of Erins Isle for 40 years and was born and reared in Finglas. He has had many positions in the club, including Juvenile Chairman and has mentored many teams, both adult and juvenile. Fran is presently coaching the Erin’s Isle girls camogie teams.

Cathy Quinn Hughes

is a local mother of three girls. As a parent, she first became involved in Erin’s Isle about 6 years ago when her daughters started to play for the club. As a result of the Erin’s Isle ethos, Cathy encourages parents to play an active role in their children’s teams. Cathy now coaches the girls camogie and football teams.

Anne Mc Cluskey

is a senior camogie player in Erin's Isle. She has played the game since she was seven. Anne has played for Dublin from under 14 to senior, winning an All-Ireland with Dublin in 2005 and captaining the victorious Dublin team in another All-Ireland final in 2006.
