We aim to provide the highest level of coaching while following the best codes of practice.

We develop skills and encourage girls to perform at all levels of their ability in a fun and safe environment.

Camogie gives girls the opportunity to foster lifelong friendships, which we believe are the stepping stones to a great future on and off the pitch.

Camogie Coaching Team


Valerie Reaney

is an Award 2 Coach in Camogie/Football and has coached at club and county. As a player she has had great success winning 3 senior club championship medals with Erin’s Isle. Valerie captained the club’s senior Camogie team to their 1st Championship title in the parish. A Dublin All-Star, she captained Dublin to a Leinster title and was part of inter-county teams for over 20 years winning 3 Leinster championships. Valerie also represented Leinster. She captained a junior football Championship, League and Cup title. Erin’s Isle has a historic reputation of players donning the blue jersey and Valerie believes it was the support of family and club that drove her on to achieve her goals. Now it’s her time to give back!

Camogie Coaching Team


Gillian Mc Cluskey

Gillian plays on the Erin’s Isle senior camogie team and she was part of the historic team that brought the first senior A camogie championship to the parish in 2003. Gillian has had a very successful career at inter-county level winning a minor and a Junior Leinster championship title. Gillian went on to win an All-Ireland championship with Dublin the same year and was named the top scorer of that championship. Gillian played Gaelic football for Finglas Gaels LGF where she was part of the team who won Championship, League and Cup Medals and in the same year Gillian recieved the award for player of the year. Gillian is also a mentor with the U16 girls football team in Isles.

Fran Kenny

has been with Erins Isle as a coach for 13 years.Fran’s daughter playing with Erin’s Isle is what got him involved with coaching the football team. Fran has coached this team since they were 9 years of age. Mick Heffernon, Janet Delaney and Jono Hardiman also coach the team and they all have daughters playing on the team. The team is pictured above:
